The toxic work environment at APS was created by fear due to the manner in which disciplinary procedures were handled and outright intimidation.

With new SIS programs being offered to Alamogordo Public Schools from Holloman Air Force Base and the potential shift of military-connected high school students to HAFB, is the new Chaparral needed?
By the time the $50-70 MILLION required is spent to build the “Crown Jewel” of schools, it may not be needed.
The soap opera of waste, abuse and total incompetence reigns supreme.
This is “Colleen’s Catastrophe”, “Judy’s Joke” and “Pam’s Problem.”
The sad thing is it is extremely damaging to the community and has cost us untold millions of dollars for a vanity project that does not even have plans or approval. “Luxury” school. “Crown Jewel.”
Time for accountability! Who’s first?

Millions have been wasted! Where is Judy Rabon and the rest of the School Board who are supposed to be overseeing this project? Where is Pam Renteria? Colleen Tagle is her employee?
Inexcusable! There needs to be accountability NOW!
Many changes are needed to be made to improve our schools. The APS School Board is not taking care of the business they were elected to oversee.
These are simple items to correct; however, it appears to be beyond the abilities or desires of the school board.
If APS wants any more mill levies or school bonds to pass perhaps they should listen to the people who elected them.
Evidently wasting $2.7 million dollars is of no concern to the Alamogordo Public Schools and School Board. Is this negligence or defiance?
This needs to be considered when School Board elections are held in November.
This is alot of money that could be used for student needs.
