REHYDRATION CHART

How much water do I need to add to rehydrate fruits and vegetables?

When rehydrating foods you can use clear liquids such as water, chicken, beef, or bone broth.  You can also use fruit juice for rehydrating fruits.

It is also possible to just add to soups or meals as you cook your dish. If you choose to include in dishes as you cook be aware of the liquid level as the dehydrated or freeze-dried foods may soak up and reduce the available liquids.

Another option is to rehydrate your foods and then place them in the food you are cooking. This method will not affect the liquid level as you cook.
