Cost and financing were also discussed. As of Jan 2024, the cost is $66.5M with an expected increase when submitted for bids.
The floor plan and site plan were revealed.

What about Chaparral Middle School?
Many attempts have been made to block the establishment of a charter school in Alamogordo.
MainGate remains resolved in its endeavor to bring educational choice to the community.
Public officials are constantly faced with making decisions in the best interest of the community.
Without a guide star of right and wrong, it becomes easier to compromise individual ethics to reach a desired goal.
Integrity, ethics and transparency are required character traits to engender trust with the community.
When someone shows you who they are believe them.
APS and the School Board has shown us the extent they will go to in order to win and silence others.
This must stop! The APS School Board and District cannot turn a blind eye to the destruction of educators or employees of APS.
The community must be made aware of these highly questionable maneuvers. Intentionally made? You decide.
Sometimes one’s education and skills do not transfer well to a different position. Even a Teacher of the Year may not have the skills required to be a good Principal or Superintendent. It is not automatic.
Is there evidence of this regarding Pam Renteria?
Alamogordo needs vision, wisdom and the skill to implement the needed improvements – not the failed business as usual.
