Does it seem at times that nothing makes sense as to what is going on? There is a reason. If you look, you can see federal agencies, special interest groups, non-profits, NGO’s and corporations seeming to blatantly defy common sense in their actions. It is a clash of agendas!
Before going into some examples, the primary reason for this occurring is a lack of vision and purpose for our country. We are not on the same page. We are not working in the same direction. There is chaos and confusion that does not make any sense. Not so long ago decisions were made and voted on based on what was best for the country…the whole country…for Americans. That is not the case any longer.
First, let’s take the environment. We all want clean air and clean water. We want to preserve the beauty of our lands but what they are doing does not make sense. First, the ethanol process creates more pollution that it saves to make an additive to eliminate some pollution from gas vehicles. Windmills generate electricity but at the expense of killing birds. Windmills also make a noise that people claim cause them headaches. When a windmill has to be replaced there is no way to recycle the huge blades. They bury them. Solar power is great but there is also no way to recycle the panels because of the hazardous contents. Bury them too? Electric car batteries – no way to dispose of them either because of the lithium. Don’t forget the pollution it creates when mining lithium and making those batteries. So far we are creating more of a problem than helping to reduce pollution and CO2.
Plastics! We are forbidden to get plastic bags for our groceries and other purchases in some states because they are detrimental to the environment. California decided that plastic straws must be eliminated to save the planet and attached a hefty fine if violated. However, it is okay to continue to sell water in any size plastic container. EPA, animal rights, and every other organization that rails against the dangers of plastic in the lakes and oceans? Crickets.
Second, climate change is deadly they say. According to Al Gore and the followers, we are supposed to be flooded and frozen years ago because of global warming. They even posted signs in Alaska by glaciers stating that the glacier would be melted by a particular year. Didn’t happen. All of their “deadlines” passed without a catastrophe. Climate change is supposed to raise the sea levels and drown the east and west coastlines destroying buildings and homes to the point the sea would overtake the land. Who was it that recently purchased homes and land right on the coast? Barak Obama and Nancy Pelosi! But “they” expect us to believe the hype when “they” obviously do not.
We must get rid of gas fired and clean coal fired power plants and only use eco-friendly power supplied by wind or solar. That worked great for Texas during their big freeze a few years ago. There was not enough sun and the windmills froze. The problem with this theory/agenda is there is no way to store enough power to run the power plants overnight or when there is no sun or wind. That is why there are gas and coal fired power plants. It is needed to keep the power available and transmitted. Makes sense. Would anyone like to live with our power down for several hours each day like in 3rd world countries? That would jeopardize all forms of living and safety.
My favorite is this – China and India are basically allowed to operate their power grids and other industries with unlimited pollution. The US must stop any and all sources of pollution especially oil and gas and cow farts/burps. That is why China and India are the main production companies in the world. No limits or environmental responsibility. Yes, this one cracks me up as to why anyone would believe this. Every country in the Paris Accord and UN agreements (including China and India) are supposed to reduce pollution. China said they would start in around 30 years. Some countries have committed to drastic reductions in pollution. Companies in the US have spent billions of dollars reducing CO2 and other harmful gases from refinery and factory emissions but that is not good enough. So we must reduce more to save the planet. Okay this is the really dumb part. China continues to build coal fired plants using dirty coal with plans for more. Same with India. Do you really think that our mass reduction of emissions will save the planet if China and India are increasing theirs? Take an aquarium. If you add food coloring to the water, does it just stay where you put it or does it spread throughout the water? Yes, all of the water is affected just like all of the air is affected. It does not stay over China but the jet stream moves their pollution toward us and will increase. The same happens with the oceans. It comes directly to our shores. It’s an agenda too!
Climate change is a business. Every solar panel, windmill and ethanol plant that is being manufactured and used to protect the environment creates more pollution in that process. The government is subsidizing all of these businesses. The companies cannot survive on their own because the free market would not be able sell the products without government support. We do not want the government deciding which businesses succeed or not. When that happens then the government is partnered with those businesses. If a product is good and performs as advertised, the business will succeed. Government supports products and businesses that cannot perform and succeed. The more countries try to save the environment through passive energy and fuel additives, it adds more to the air levels than is saved. In other words, we are creating more pollution but saying we are reducing it. It makes no sense at all. Ask yourself, who is getting rich off of it? Follow the money.
Now they are building pipelines to transmit CO2 underground to rid us of it. Whoever came up with that idea is making lots of money. Where are the effectiveness studies? What effect does it have on the planet as a whole? No one is talking.
These agendas are sold saying it is to OUR benefit. It is to THEIR benefit. Their agendas are costing every citizen lots of money by increased cost of living. What are the benefits to the country and its citizens?
With so much going on in the world, it becomes imperative for us to get passed the sound bites and think critically about what is really going on. Chaos is used as distractions while another agenda is at play they do not want you to notice. This is not about red/blue or left/right. It is about OUR country. When things cease to make sense, take time to read, research and think. Do not live by programmed sound bites.
